First of all, I've been feeling this baby consistently for at least 10 weeks now, and for the past month I've been feeling full-on punches and kicks, enough that it's quite obvious just looking at the outside of my stomach.

Well, yesterday evening I kind of panicked a little trying to remember if I'd felt any movement at all for the whole day. He gave me two quick little pokes as I went to bed, and I have felt hiccups, but he's being very quiet in there, which isn't usual for him. I didn't feel him much throughout the night either, or this morning yet.

Is it normal to suddenly have such a drastic decrease in movement? (I know most of you will suggest calling my doctor for reassurance, but I want to avoid that if I can since I just called two days ago about some lower back ache and the nurse just told me it was normal and made me feel silly for calling :dohh:).

Don't feel silly about calling it's a perfectly good reason to call, u know what's normal for your bubs so I'd call, I'm sure all is fine, with all my pregnancy there were quiet and active days but check to put ur mind at rest

Well, I figured as soon as I posted, he'd probably start moving some more, and I was right. :dohh:

But the movements are weird. They're not kicks, they feel like a big gas bubble forming and then going away, so my guess is that he's turned inwards and I'm just feeling his back pressing against my tummy.
