Not feeling very confident atm

Theres sooo many babies on here the same age as Alex and theyre so much bigger than he is!
Hes still not even reached 8lbs at 2 months

but how big were these babies at birth? Alex was quite tiny. He's growing and happy and healthy, you really are doing a great job and shouldn't doubt yourself

I understand how you feel, as Alyssa's the same - a slower weight gainer. But you are doing a brilliant job; Alex is thriving and is perfect. I often find myself comparing weights, but try and remind myself that all babies grow at different rates, and Alex will be putting on weight at a pace that suits him. He was quite small at birth, and has done brilliantly to put on as much weight as he has since birth. Alyssa has only put on just over 3lbs since she was born, and she's now just about 19 weeks old.

Try not to be hard on yourself - you're doing a fantastic job!

You know how much Brenn weighed at 2 months? Well neither do I, because I never have judge his weight as a indicator of how well he was doing. There are several things that are more important than worring about how much he weighs.

If he is peeing lots and pooping he is fine... Jasmine was 6lbs 1 oz at birth, at 2 months she was 12lbs 5 oz, and she stayed at 12lbs 5 oz until she was 5 months old... and she was FF! Every baby is different and they all higt growth spurts at different times.

As long as he's happy, having wet and dirty nappies then he's fine! You're doing a brilliant job, try not to worry
