Hello ladies! It has been a long time since I made a post on here. I made many posts on the miscarriage support page after having three losses due to a chromosome abnormalities. I am very happy to say after adopting my little girl in January, I am now 16 weeks pregnant with my rainbow BOY who was very much a surprise!
Anyway, my reason for posting is I am having an incredibly difficult time locating my baby's heart beat on my at home doppler. I can find my heart beat, and the placenta but I have yet to pick up that little gallop on my own. I had an appointment two weeks ago today and it took the nurse two dopplers and about 10-15 minutes (which felt like hours!) To find baby's heart beat. I'm not thin by any means, so I'm thinking this may have something to do with it. Or possibly location of the placenta. But I'd love to hear that reassuring sound! Does anyone have any tips for me, or a similar experience? I'm trying not to get too worked up about it, but it'd be great to put my mind to ease!
