Naming is SO important! I love a lot of girl's names, yet, not a single one seems like The One. I especially like names that can be shortened to nicknames (like Sammie short for Samantha) etc.
The names I've been set on for decades have fallen wayside. I wanted Nicholas for a boy, but that's not my son's name.

I wanted Phoebe for a girl, but it doesn't have good short-names (and no one seems to like it).
I'm currently fixated on Isabella, but it's so popular right now that I am rejecting it.
I love the name Ashley for a girl, but now it seems kind of boring.
I like Nikita (Nicky or Kitty for short) but I don't get positive feedback on it.

Names I love as middle names are Grace or Raine (Raine has sentimental value to me, I'd use it as a first name but I prefer 2-syllable names as first names).

I adore Phoebe Grace 💕, Phoebe is one of my favourite names

Phee (pronounced Fee) or PheePhee or Pheebs are all nicknames for Phoebe and of all your choices, that's the one I voted for :) xxxx

Thanks guys! I'm surprised to see so many votes for Phoebe this time. I posted a while back and no one like it!

I voted for Phoebe and Nikita. Phoebe I would probably knick name Fifi as I do with Sophie. I like the 'fee' sound!

I vote for Isabella Raine - GORGEOUS name!

How about Raina? (since you prefer two syllable 1st names)

Raina Isabella (nn. Raine)

I think phoebe grace sounds lovely, my best friends daughter is called pheobe and if it's shortened it to pheebs which is nice I think

I must be the odd one out but I really dislike both phoebe and grace, they both have very harsh unfeminine pronunciations to me

Raine is sweet - what about Lorraine nn. Raine as a first name

Isabella is sweet too and I like both Izzy and Bella as nn but I do get the popularity thing although I only know on Isobel and no Isabella

Nikita sound a little bit like a stripper name to me but I love the nickname Kitty, I quite like the name Kitaine but its a bit out there

What about Kitty Raine? My niece is called Kitty - it's a fab name

I just saw your other thread. I love Nikita Grace.

I'm not a fan of nicknames personally, and I never shorted Nikita's name when I called her. None of her friends did either.
