Not much time left at work...

I'm at work right now feeling dreadful. I don't think i've felt this ill through all of my pregnancy. I was looking for something to distract me and make me feel better...

Then i worked out that i only have 44 days of work left! I wish that was 44 days in total. But atleast i only have to do 44 days worth of work.... and all the rest of the time is MY time :-D

I can't wait to meet my little bundle.

Out of curiosity, when have you all decided to leave work? I will be 35 weeks pregnancy when i finish work. I finish on 9th of May but my Mat Leave doesn't start till 19th May, i have booked the last of my holidays in beforehand.

Due to my office relocating and me not wanting to do the extra fifty miles a day driving i have taken all of the 11 weeks maternity you can have beforehand. So that plus my holidays means i can leave in 6 weeks time. I didn't want to finish that early. My original plan was to work until i was 35 weeks. I will be 25 nearly 26 weeks when i leave.

Can you not finish any earlier? In a way i'm glad now that i am going to finish earlier , i can get myself, the house, baby stuff all ready for when he/she gets here .

Im leaving in 4 weeks I will be 36 weeks then . So i will have 4 weeks off before baby comes unless he decides to come early or late. I am really tired and I cant stand being at work any longer I might take holiday so i have only 3 weeks left instead I will see how I feel because I really hate it here my boss is stressing me out

omg im just reading thorugh and you are all doing so well... im a haairdresser and 6 months pregnant..just being on my feet all day they have swollen and i havaeing really bad back pain so i am finishing in 2 weeks...i still will have 2 and a half months to go..we cant afford it but i have to start lookin after bubby i guess...
i can do hairdressing from home but i feel so slack now lols

Yeah thats the thing... gotta listen to your body. If your body is telling you to stop.. you gotta stop. At least you'll have us to keep you company!

Isn't all of this so exciting?? I was working my dates out this morning and think i will leave when i'm about 33 weeks. Mixture of hols and maternity leave.

Wish SMP was much more than £112 per week. We are really going to struggle. Why can't employers be nice and pay us a bit extra!


My employers still haven't even given me my maternity pack Don't know any company policy on mat leave as they've never had anyone pregnant before! Can you believe it?!!

Im leaving in 11 weeks. Ill be 37 weeks pregnant. I wanted to work as far as I possibly could, I was originally planning just 2 weeks before Seth is born, but Im struggling with the walking to and from work now, so I dread to think what Ill be like at 38 weeks.

Not long Im counting down the weeks.

I finish in another 7 weeks, and ill be 32 weeks by then, but Im getting a bit worried, as my bump is rather big, im on my feet a lot, and Im beginning to get muscle strain at the top of my stomach...might invest in one of those maternity belts, see if its any use..but if it gets worse, Im finishing up early!
