Hey guys just wondered if anyone else has a strange feeling in their tummy..

It's like nausea but more of a constant need to burp, you know when the burp's almost coming up and makes you feel a bit sicky for a second?

It's making me feel like I constantly need to be burped, like painful sicky trapped wind :(

Even when I do have the odd burp it feels restricted and I end up burping up frothy water :(

I had it last night and eventually it came out the other end (sorry tmi) but even when it's out it feels like there's a load more gas in there that I can never fully get rid of.

I'm just wondering if there's anything safe to take to get rid of this gassy feeling?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions x x x

I have been feeling the same.I told my DR last week and all he said was Welome to pregnant life!lol

I am a burbing gassy machine.... lol if your donc is being unsuportive its probly because its a normal symptom and he gets this call everyday.... eat lots of fiber you will be less gassy if your not constipated, as for the burbing.. welll... get friend that drink lots of beer and burp with them ;)

That's how I felt from week 6-7, kinda hungover feeling, hollow tummy and all these little burps

However this morning brought actual puking...

I've been feeling like that for the last 2 weeks - it's horrible, really starting to get me down. But I am finding that eating a small meal every 3-4 hours helps a lot! Good luck, hope it stop soon for both of us!

Hi, I've been feeling the same for 3 weeks. Its like you need to be sick but burp instead. Have had the frothy water too. Not pleasant. Spoke to doc, and he too said thats Pregnancy! After 12 weeks it should settle. Thanks lol! He clearly doesnt understand women or pregnancy. My daughters pregnancy was a breeze compared to this one lol!
So far toast or crackers before bed seem to settle it so I can sleep.
Hope u feel better soon x x

yes, I know how you feel. I feel yucky most of the time. A lot of women LOVE being pregnant, but so far I feel gross. My stomach feels odd, I'm either constipated or the opposite, I'm moody and tired..... I gag and vomit when I brush my teeth... even the Zofran doesn't seem to stop the nausea on some days!

It'll all be worth it, but yes basically I feel hungover and am ready to see my little one! I heard once you get past the first trimester time flies by! FX it does bc I either want a BUMP so I actually look the way I feel or a baby, like... NOW! lol

Hehe! U sound as impatient as I do. Have what can only be described as a churning stomach most days and the sick feeling all day. Having a time of it so looking forward to the 12 week marker. The sore boobs are new too and make sleeping v hard lol! I hope u start feeling better soon. Its so frustrating cos every pregnancy is different so a lot of people dont understand what you're going through huh?
Im doing ok on the bump front. Im looking bloated already. (Apparently because my stomach muscles are relaxed from having DD) I look fat though and jeans just arent fitting. U having cravings? Hows your pregnancy going? x x

Thank you guys, I wouldn't wish this feeling on anyone but glad I'm not the only one experiencing it!

Soon after I posted that it changed to feeling really tired and sicky in the afternoons - that only lasted a few days and unfortunately yesterday I woke in the morning with the annoying going- to- be- sick feeling which came and went all day, complete with the convincing really watery mouth! Not what I needed when looking after a two year old for 11 hours!

I can barely think about food at the mo and am mostly longing for plain things with grated cheese on the side- jacket potato, pasta, lettuce, tomatoes lol! Has anybody else got any cravings?

Also could we all share our ways that we deal with this awful sicky feeling please..
I try to eat little and often so I'm never full or hungry, just in between, bananas helped me yesterday.

I sip on water all day rather than downing a glass at a time.

Ginger nut biscuits sometimes help although you have to be in the mood for them.

Crystallised Ginger broke up my really painful trapped wind the other night within minutes, again you have to be in the mood for it.

Any other cures I should try??

Thanks girlies x x

Me too, not actually been sick but feel sick and full of wind especially when I'm really hungry which is most of the time! I have rennies and gavisvon to take as they are safe for pregnancy, only tried a rennie last night and it helped a bit. I get awful burps when I lie down at night. I'm just glad I'm not actually being sick, feel for all the ladies who are.

I've got it too, it's really uncomfortable and i have to admit it's one of the worst symptoms I have at the min, I'm sick of it, I hope you find something to help x

Thank you everyone, hopefully we'll all either feel better soon or find a magic cure - please share if you find one!!

I saw the doctor for my first appointment on Saturday morning just to get it put on my records and get the ball rolling really, it was lovely to ask all those questions that seem silly as well!

I asked if it was ok for me to just take folic acid at the moment without prenatal vitamins, she said it's absolutely fine and that even though we're struggling, baby is getting exactly what they need, so we're just left with what's left over!

How's everyone feeling now? My sickyness is still afternoons mainly, sometimes a slight feeling when I get up, and a lot of painful trapped wind at night. Hope you're all feeling better now x x x

I've had this feeling as well -I don't get morning sickness but sometimes feel a little bit sickly then not long after a burp comes up and I feel okay! I am gassy in general though - especially in my stomach!

Hi All
Well I had no symptoms until mid last week and now I feel sick all the time. Wearing anti-travel sickness bands seems to have helped to take the edge off it unless I'm really hungry - like now!

I also have had the feeling sick but burp instead thingy and the hollow tummy. With my daughter I had sickness for the first 14 weeks but mostly in the afternoon-evening. With this one, it's all the time..

And to think last week I was actually wanting some symptoms ...

ive been having a weird feeling lately. kind of an uncomfortable heaviness, seems worse at night when im trying to sleep. its kind of nice actually, reminds me my tummy doesnt just belong to me anymore :D xx

I had a very similar feeling. Like everything I ate wasn't digesting and it felt like it was always at the bottom of my throat. I missed my prenatal pill one day (oops) and the feeling went away. I took it again the following day and the feeling was back and I was sooooo sick. I read online and the doctor told me that it's just as good to take childrens Flinstones vitamins just as long as you're getting enough iron everyday. So far after taking those dang pills I feel soooooooo much better.

As much ad I wouldn't wish it on anyone I'm glad we're all going through it together :)

I saw the doctor for the first time on sat and asked if it's ok for me to just take folic acid without prenatal vitamins and she said it was fine as they aren't needed in early pregnancy, they make some peoples sickness a lot worse than it needs to be and the baby is taking exactly what it needs from us anyway which is why we feel so bad - because we're left with what baby doesn't need, so I wouldn't worry about pretnatals if they're making you I'll, unless you have a deficiency. Many women before us/all over the world didnt/don't take them because they weren't around/can't afford them and nature usually makes things work out right :) x x x
