Hello everyone
So, here I am... our 5th iui with Femera and trigger shot failed. I'm SO sick and tired of all this. I really dont know how much more I can take!
Anyways, I'm going in to talk to my doctor in about a week, and want to have some good questions for him.
Im 28, DH is 28. We have a 7 year old boy (concieved on the pill!) and it makes no sense why we are on year 2 of this!
Im taking 2.5mg femera (just like clomid) and the trigger shot. I get one ultrasound at about 11 days into my cycle to see how the follicles are doing. I go back in and do the sperm wash, and insemination. And wait.....
I feel like we could be doing more. I know some Fertility specialists do 2 inseminations. One right before you ovulate and one the day you ovulate. I also have never had my progesterone levels checked. should I? I know some people go in 12dpiui and get a blood test to see if it worked, just so you dont have to wait and freak out for another few days. sorry, im ranting.
Is there anything I should ask about continuing on the IUI path, but with some different options? My insurance covers ALL of IUI's, and NONE of injections or IVF. So I have to stick with IUI's until further notice....
thanks ladies!!!
