Anyone else see a weird shift in sleeping patterns and needs at the end?

For several days now I've gone to bed around midnight, been up around 5:30, and needed little to no nap during the day. Ever since I've been pregnant it's been to bed by 8:00, sleep twelve hours and need a nap by mid day. This is so weird. At least the cats are loving my nocturnal proclivities.

Meeee. I'l Go To Sleep Around 10 Or 11PmAnd Wake Up Around 4:30 Or A Little Before To Wee, Maybe 2:30, Sleep Abit But Always Up Again At 4:30Am Again. Stay Up Till 7 Or 6 Before Going Back To Bed Till Noon.

But This Has Been For The Last Few Weeks. Eek

im sleeping so rubbish just lately. Wish i could have a good full night sleep but between loo breaks and heartburn and wriggling baby i have no hope :haha:

Third trimester insomnia is the pits, hang in there..you will return to normal once bub is born..that is if bub lets you sleep lol

I didn't sleep well for the first 7 months and now I mostly sleep fine, except for the bathroom breaks. I seem to have the opposite experience of most women.

Im up all night...sleep about 1-2 hours then im up about 20 mins...its the pits...I am so tired I just want a full nights sleep...guess it will be a while before I get that!

About a week ago I stopped getting good nights sleep. I stay up super late now and the smallest noises or baby wiggles wake me up (I use to be a super heavy sleeper) and then I'm wide awake and struggle to get back to sleep.

I live in california where there have been several earthquakes lately. Last night I woke up DH to let him know there was another earthquake happening, only to realize the baby was just kicking me really hard! LMAO. He was kicking so hard, the bed was shaking a bit. Yeah, sleep is getting harder for sure.

Yes me too! Except last night I slept about 15 hours!!! So it's feast or famine it seems like with sleep lately.

I always get awful insomnia in third tri. It is fantastic practice for those middle-of-the-night feedings, though... :)

LOL Between my girls' schedule and my 1-year-old who still doesn't sleep through the night, I have no idea what my own natural sleep cycle is!! I would give anything for ONE undisturbed night. :haha:
