Not sure I can do this.....

I'm being induced tomorrow at 40&12. Up until 38/39 weeks I'd had a great pregnancy but since then I've had to go into hospital every other day forfetal monitoring and checks etc due to high bp - then its fine, protein in urine - then none present etc etc so doctors have just let it run on.

Now I'm completely exhausted, hardly slept lately, feel sick all the time, feel shivery and fluey, my bump is so big it's pushing really awkwardly.

I've got to phone for my test results today but I've got high urates, protein and some infection by the looks if it probably explaining why I feel so rough.

Anyway I just don't know if I've got the strength to go through the induction process as well, 2 weeks ago I was raring to go but now I want to curl up and cry. I've also got a bad feeling something is going to go wrong...

Sorry for waffling but needed to get this off my chest!

Sorry to hear you are feeling so rubbish. Try to think positively sweetie, in a couple of days you're going to have your beautiful babe in your arms looking up at you and all of the rubbishness will be a distant memory I'm sure. Keep your chin up hunny

I feel the same - I'm going to be induced tomorrow at 40 + 9 due to high bp. I feel like my body's failed really - failed to get LO out and failed to maintain a healthy state. I know that's just hormones, but I really am not looking forward to being stuck in hospital for the whole labour - my plan was to go in as late as possible to avoid the boredom and stress. I'm sure I won't remember afterwards and it's all best for me and baby, but I do understand the frustration!

Hope it all goes quickly and smoothly for you - at least you'll be in the best place and can't do any more to help your baby get a good start.
