hello everyone

I've been TTC my second child for nearly a year now, we have a Son who took 2 years to arrive.

I've only got one ovary, due to having the other removed with a cyst.

I'm not sure if a doctor would take me seriously based on the fact that I already have one child???

Not sure really just wanted to write this down xx

I am in the US so I can't really speak for the UK but here at least it doesn't matter if you have one kid or 5 they will help you once you have reached the 1 year mark. I would hope that it is the same in the UK. Good luck.

You should get help as it is secondary infertility.

I am in the south east of UK.

I have a child already and I am receiving help.

The treatment you will recieve depends on your PCT's recommendations with regards to fertility treatment.

I have had all the usual tests, bloods, HSG, SA, laps etcetc

For treatment I have recieved 6 months of Clomid and I am back to the FS next week to find out where I go from here.

You will be taken seriously, go to your GP now, no waiting, the sooner you go, the sooner you can start the process started.

And I expect you will be taken a lot more seriously, re: only having one ovary.

Good Luck!
