I have just started ttc two months ago, but I have been charting everything for months...close to a year.
I had a strange occurrence in February however.
I experienced bleeding a lot heavier than AF and a few days earlier.
The bleeding stopped for a few days and I had some minir brownish spotting
that lasted about 3 days.
There was a lot of tissue.
Whenever it stopped I thought AF was gone.
I was exhausted for the entire time (it lasted a week and a half.)
The only cramping I had was mild with a few sharp pains.
Okay, this is where it gets kind of icky...
I sneezed back to back a few times and I felt something wet.
When I went to the bathroom I saw a clump of tissue that was big enough to scare me. I had no pregnancy symptoms, but I went to the ER.
I was told it was an infection.
I continued bleeding heavy for 3 days.

My periods have been regular for a year now.
I haven't ever had this happen before.
My cycle is 28-31 days.

I missed my last period.
AF is back on track.
I am still passing tissue but bleeding is normal.

if anyone can let me know what the heck happened your help is much appreciated.

It has given me a good scare. I really want a baby and this kind of thing gets me down...

Did the doctor prescribe something for the infection ???

Just an antibiotic. I just haven't had any pain
I thought infections were supposed to be painful?

Infections do not have to be painful....are you sure it's tissue and not just clots? There's a difference. Did they do an ultrasound or pelvic exam to check for fibroids?

I'm not sure. I have m/c'd before but it was painful.
This may sound silly, but I'm not entirely sure of the difference between clots and tissue.
I thought at first it may have been a big chunk of lining.

It looked like a golf ball. The color was really dark red and I waited to see if it would dissolve for a few minutes and part of did.
I've talked to a few doctors and they told me it was pretty normal...but I'm not sure. It still worried me.

I guess not having any pain is a really good sign, sounds like you've spoken to a few doctors, try not to dwell on it but just keep an eye on future periods, if it happens again investigate further , good luck xx
