Not sure what is going on

I had an early loss at around 4 wks on 13th October.

I bled for around four days then everything settled.

Just over one week later this was confirmed with a negative pregnancy test by my doctor

For past 3 or 4 days I’ve had the worst cramp with severe nausea and a sore back.

I’ve done a few tests which have all been negative so I have ruled out the possibility of another pregnancy.

Does all this sound normal? The cramp is really awful and I’m worrying that I haven’t actually had a scan or anything to make sure all is ok but then the negative tests are making me everything has now settled.

Any insight or advice would be really appreciated, this is my first loss and feel like I’m driving myself mad worrying what’s going on x

Have you had a period yet? This could just be your first AF coming around. For some women the first after a mc can be more painful and crampy than usual.

I haven’t no, sorry should probably have mentioned that🙈 thanks for the reply.

Tbh this cramp etc has been for worse than when the loss happened so just worrying myself, just want everything back to normal x

Your levels may not have dropped right back to 0 as some tests aren’t very sensitive - if you’re worried I would go get checked out just in case. I’m so sorry for your loss x

Not to scare you but it could possibly be a uterine infection. I had one after one of my miscarriages and it made me crampy. It was also very sore when I pushed down on my pelvis. I had to go to the doctor for antibiotics and it cleared it up.

I had a mc on 19th October, bled badly for 4 days, tailed off day 5 and 6 and had stopped by day 7. I have also had the bad cramping and sore back for a few days (started on nov 4th) and am testing negative even on the super sensitive tests..

Have you been to the doctors? I've been doing a lot of searching online which suggests it could be AF getting ready to make an appearance. I've been debating whether to go to the drs or not. I was worried about infection, however today I have had almost no cramps.. So I'm inclined to think its my body getting ready for AF.

I’ve told myself if it’s not here by start of next week will make an appointment just to be sure. I hope your cramps stay away and we both get back on track soon xx

Glad your cramps are calming down. Fingers crossed for both of us
