during the day if she sleeps lol.

Have a crib up in our bedroom for nightime but normally I would have a moses basket downstairs during the day but dont have so much room in this house as previous.

Did think about just setting pram up and using carrycot of that but not sure if that would be suitable for daytime naps but dont like the idea of her being upstairs when Im downstairs for lengths of time

Any advice ladies?

Ill be using my pram during the day, or if its just a short nap, her bouncy chair. The pram should be absolutely fine as long as there is a nice comfy mattress in there! x

i have got a baby bouncer chair and my pram, im hoping that will be fine, they say at the beggining to sleep when baby does so i guess i will be upstairs most of the time with him in his cot! my friends baby will only sleep during the day if she is holding her!! she cant complain though cause she sleeps all the way through the night on her own!

I was thinking that. Didnt really want to have to buy a moses basket if not necessary.

We have a lounge diner so I think setting the pram up in there would be ok

This is my 3rd baby and I feel like a first time mum all over again as it was 7 and a half years agor since my last and 8 years before that (see how much time it takes to build he courage for another haha)

I just put DD in her pram carrycot downstairs and will do the same this time, as we are short of space too... Worked really well for us.

I've actually just bought a swing from Kiddicare for this exact reason...:

I was going to use the moses basket, but it would be such an ordeal for me to take the moses basket downstairs every day and somehow keep the cats (I'm living at my Mums atm and she's got 2 very hyper cats) out of the basket before I put baby inside each day. Would be a nightmare, so I liked this swing as it's relatively flat & looks comfy so baby can sleep :)

I think that will be the best thing to do

we have a bouncy chair too but wasnt sure whether that would give a firm enough base for her

I will be using my pram or FP glider chair for her downstairs.

Bouncy Chair or Swing or pram. I will only put baby in the cot and close the door if I need to go outside to put washing out or something. But my monitor has 300m range... I could go to the bloomin shop and back and still hear the baby with that!

my LO wont probably be asleep downstairs much in the day unless its in the pram or in the sling on me lol as i dont think the boys would leave baby alone lol

well I shall have a similar problem with my dd. Shes 7 and will probably try and treat baby like her doll though she has been told 100 times already lol

During the week would be ok as she would be at school til 3.30 so Im hoping it wont be too much of a problem :dohh:
