So my little girl was born on the 29th may making her a may baby instead of a june bug as intended. The experience was not something I would want to repeat or wish on anyone to repeat.
Unlike the elective planned for the 8th of june, I was rushed to hospital on the monday 28th may as my blood pressure had sky rocketed and there was protein in the urine, they then tested my urine and found my kidneys were playing up so the next morning they told me not to eat anything which was difficult as hell and then by the afternoon I was being wheeled in to theatre to have my little girl at 37 and a half weeks.

It was all so sudden and even though I wanted the pregnancy over it was a traumatic experience and I felt out of control and scared and I know I am only 3 days post partum but my anxiety and depression are bad and I pray the pain will go so I can look after my amazing daughter like my husband can

Will post pics and proper birth story later on

Update: I am now totally thrilled I had a c-section as the scar is so minimal you cannot even see it lol my stretch marks are far more noticable and after those first four days of pain and not being able to walk properly I now feel ready to do things. I can carry baby around the house, feed and change her, take her out of her bed and i can also roll on my side again and pick up things although no washing or furtniture removal and brisk walks outside just yet

also

I LOVE MY LITTLE GIRL

:hugs: Congratulations on your little girl, i hope you start feeling better soon x

Oh wow!! Congratulations honey!! I hope you're feeling better soon. :hugs:

I hope you feel better soon, i had an emergency c-section i was up and walking a few hours later although the pain was excruciating and i needed help getting to the toilet and back. was in pain for about 3 weeks but was getting easier every day, had indigestion so didnt eat much and lost 2 and a half stone which wasnt such a bad thing! you will be feeling better as each day goes by, i read somewhere the more excercise (walking) you do, the faster you heal, although the midwife practically puts you on bed rest:/ x

thanks ladies :D I am nervous about going to the toilet for the first time and have taken lactulose twice now and still nothing, oh well when its meant to happen it will I guess.
yeah walking around the first day was really hard but day four is much easier than day 2 and even yesterday

Congratulations on your lovely daughter!

I'd say take all the pain meds you can so the pain doesn't get on top if you. In a few days things will get better...
