I was induced because baby was measuring small in my last two pregnancies. This time they arranged a consultant scan for my 20 week scan to check on my placenta to determine whether or not I was high risk again for IUGR and what was going on.
I apparently have notching on both sides which means that the placenta isnt functioning as well as it should be and am likely to have another baby with growth problems. She didn't say anything else really but I've googled itdohh and I'm reading this means I am at a very high risk of IUGR, Pre-eclampsia, Preterm birth and placental abruption. Obviously I am now concerned/worried! I'm starting regular growth scans from 24 weeks
Any advice or anyone else who's had this and what happened?
