Hey ladies,

I had my NT ultrasound today. Baby's NT measured 1.4mm. My OBGYN said this was a good measurement and that the blood work will only improve it. Is that true or could the blood work actually change it for the worst?

Hi luna, I'm a sonographer so can answer your question. 1.4mm is a great measurement, however, other things can put you in high risk - your blood result, being over 35, being a smoker, IVF, lots of things. But basically, that number and good bloods should put you in the low risk I would say. Good luck!!

Mine were 2.4! And i was told that's fine and within whats classed as a normal reading. Still bricking it though x

Ok thanks ladies. I feel more reassured now. I'm under 35 yrs, not a smoker, no IVF. So I suppose it comes down to the blood work now. Thanks again!

Just to update you - My results came back today and we are LOW risk, so i'm sure you will be fine xx
