NT Scan outcome

I am 35 years old and I had the NT scan with the combined blood test last week. And the results surprised me! Our baby has a 1 in 11000 chance of Down's syndrome.I was pleased with the results.
So ladies, preganancy over 35 is not as scary or risky as the internet would have us believe!

Thanks for your post. I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and 35 years old and planning on having the same tests if at all possible and am really nervous about the outcome. Your post is reassuring and I'm really pleased for you that you got such a good result

I wanted to jump in here too i was 36 when I fell pregnant and had the boys - my NT results were 1:3700 and 1:4500 farrrrr better than I ever could have hoped xxx

Congrats on the great results! Such a relief isn't it! I got mine back at 1:20000 such a great feeling. I have had many major bleeds and terrifying scares, bedrest the whole bit! But baby seem sto be doing very well and that is what it is all about! I wish the best for you and beanie!!!
