Nub or cord!!

Sorry ladies I didn't know how to add this onto my last thread! This baby's nub is driving me (and my poor husband) mad! What I thought was it's nub might actually be it's cord - has anyone seen anything like this pic before! Thanks so much! x

Doesn't look like cord to me, baby's leg is quite clear and what looks like a flat nub underneath it.

I'm not quite sure if nub is imaged. Pic is pretty dark though. I'd guess girl
