number 2's

how often does your little one do a number 2 ?

Riya hasn't had a bowel movement since Monday night, doesn't seem to be in any continuous discomfort or constipated though. Is this normal ?


She's exclusively on aptimel formula.

hiya jenna only seems to go once a day if that can be 2 days!! i spoke to health visitor and she said this is normal for a ff babie as with a bf babie they go more often! Only to worry if she is grizzly and looks like shes straining! hope this helps! xxx

Only need to worry if it's like pellets when it comes out. That's constipation. Straining and crying when pooing is normal for some babies!

have a go at massaging the lo bum and hold his feet and put his knees to chest these get the bowel going,also try some cooled boiled water

Ollie has mostly gone 3 to 4 times a day. If there is a day where he doesn't go I give him water but no more than 3ozs a day, this seems to do the trick but a lot of ff babies don't go every day, take care xx

Normal says on babycentre babies on formula can go days without a poo!

iv been told they can go up to a week with out having a poo as long as there are lots of wet nappys all is well my lo gose every outher day
