nursing uterine contractions forever?

I'm exclusively breastfeeding and often feel uterine contractions during. Its been 2 1/2 months. Feels like menstrual cramps. Will I always feel them?

You may want to ask your doc about that, kinda seems like a long time. Mine only lasted about a week.

Mine only lasted about a week I think and MW told me to get in touch if they lasted much longer.

Great. I lost my health insurance and can't really afford it.

Does anyone know what could be causing it? Couldn't find much online.

I had husky A but they drop you 60 days post partum. I didn't even get my 6 week pp checkup BC Dr was out of town. I went to my appt they said they tried to call and reschedule.I went back to work the next day.

I can't remember when it stopped completely for me, but it was 3 months at least. I have mentrual like cramps each month but not as intense as those early ones.
