Nutrimagen Lipil 1 for CMPI

So we've been prescribed this for suspected CMPI, I'm beginning to think from my research we should have been given nutrimagen AA? Anyone know?

No our Lo had the same and was give the same awful stuff but it does work.

By awful do you mean the smell/taste? I've heard whisperings but we haven't tried it yet.

It's worth a go with the lipil but you are correct he should really be on AA for CMPI.

Lipil still contains cows milk (although completely broken down) and AA contains no cows milk at all.

See how you get on though first, if the allergy is not too bad it might be good but really AA would probably be best.

I believe lipil/pepti milks taste better though.

.my sons on this and god it does smell and taste yh I had a try lol AWFUL No wonder my lil baby didn't want it I had to mix it wirh is old milk they tey u on that one first as if the allergy isnt to bad that will work x

If you don't see an improvement I'd ask for Neocate... it has no proteins in it, Nutramigen still has some, they are just broken down. They always try that one first as it's cheaper! xx
