My newborn daughter had taken OAE test after 2 days of birth and doctors told right ear having low response , Need to take the test again after 45 days.

Any one faced this situation before...? ,
even if there is any issue , treatment will be available right..?

Apparently it is really common due to mucus from birth clogging up their ears. I was warned that we might need a retest for that reason, however I already knew she was fine as she jumped at loud sounds in the womb and turned to my voice as a newborn.

My baby failed hers, here hey do a retest the following week, then move on to the AABR test which is more sensitive. Thankfully she passed that, but even if she had failed that here was only a 1 in 25 chance she would have hearing loss. Don't worry about it, lots of babies fail at pass, probably just gunk in the ear.

Our first failed the hearing test in one ear. We took him back to be retested like a week or two later and he passed. :)
