Obsessed with POAS!! ovulation test 7dpo eyes please

Ok, so I'll admit. I am struggling to wait until an acceptable time to take a pregnancy test. I'd heard on the grapevine ov tests can sometimes pick up conception and I have plenty of those things to waste!!
So .... tonight I did one after a 2hr hold and it's got a line on it? Very faint but a line all the same. Should I not get my hopes up? I've added a comparison to my CD17-CD18 pics and this one is at the bottom although slightly faint it got darker after 5min so took above pic. Opinions pretty please xx

Some people have a low amount of LH in their system thru their cycle. Also, 6DPO is about the earliest you should can implant. Its extremely unlikely to implant before but even if you did it's unlikely a test would register a positive yet. AND i also read that to reliably trust an OPK as an HPT (for the low LH reason and a few others ) your levels would be high enough for a HPT to show positive. Sorry, probably not what you were hoping to hear

Step away from the OPKs!

Never use these to try to detect pregnancy. Some women's tests always show a line or have times in the month where a faint line will be present. I used to do this myself but now don't as often got faint lines but never led to a BFP. Sorry if it's not the answer you want but just being honest!
But it's still super early so there's time for that BFP yet!!

No need to apologise you two, I appreciate you taking your time to reply. After doing some googling I am seeing that is the case. Holding out a few more days to test properly hehe x
