odd cycle and pain

just hoping you ladies have some advice. ive always had a regular cycle of 28-30days and a 6day period no other probs, i had my little boy who is now 14mnths old the last few months ive been getting alot of pain during intercourse no bleeding or pain after just during which we put down to my husband and not me but now for the last 2-3months my periods appear when there not due and got lighter i didnt think it was anything to worry about but now long over a month and no period. i had what i thought the start of one a few days ago it felt like the start of a period but the bleeding stopped within a few hours and havent had a bleed since. Im starting to get a bit worried now as ive never been like this before and with christmas and newyear going to be getting hard getting a doctors appointment for a few days. ive also done a few pregnancy tests and all negative. has anybody else had this or any thought of what it could be. xxx
