I am a behavioral therapist and this is my absolute FAVORITE population to work with! There isn't a lot of research on this population aside from the link to conduct disorder and delinquency. If you can find a behavioral health/psychology agency or BCBA they should be able to help. The improvements with these children are SLOW and the adults in their lives need to work extra hard to foster productive relationships with these kids. They are incredibly intelligent and need consistent consequences and boundaries. Getting help now will be more beneficial than waiting until they are bigger and stronger. There needs to be a good relationship between the therapist and a person with ODD, so patience is a MUST if you are able to interview multiple candidates. I hope that helps a little bit.
