Oddest place you have fed?

the train to Edinburgh with DH hiding me from everyone else

Not breastfeeding, but pumping!
In the car in the hospital car park lol!

i had my noisy electric pump as I was very pissed off that another mothers partner kept knocking the hospital lactation room door, and opening it to see if she was finshed, or alone so he could join her!

I still want to punch him. i'll decide when I'm ready to pump in from of a stranger!

stood up at the front of a lecture room, whilst being cross-examined by a real barrister (he was HOT too..) for my law module at southampton uni, she was 5 weeks and i was allowed to have her in the room, and she just wanted some food so i had to!! no-one minded or even cared! think they were just relieved that she was quiet finally, everyone tried to comfort her all it took was for me to take her, pop her on and she was silent :)

:dohh: What an idiot

:happydance:
do i get a prize?!! :)

breatfeeding in public is great, its the most natural thing in the world! i do it everywhere (in the pub, in restaurants, swimming pool, at the park, in sainsburys car park whilst putting the shopping in my boot..)

although it is a bit embarrassing when she pulls off without me really paying attention and i im spraying milk everywhere unknowingly :)

sat on a big boulder at the entrance to torbay hospital, everyone entering and leaving could see me. i just smiled and waved lol.

Not really odd but one of the first places I remember feeding her when we were out was Pizza Express. No one noticed....not even my hubby :dohh: He asked me if I was going to feed her and I told him I already had! :smug:

Would you class in church as odd?? I've feed at the back of church to keep her quiet during the service when she was really little. The vicar stood and talked to me after the service for 5 mins before he realised I was feeding her!!

I have fed Olivia outside a church on a bench near the door at my o/h mums wedding last week. I would have fed her inside but she keeps unlatching and twisting around during a feed and I didnt fancy flashing in church lol xx

The most "public" place I can think of was when I was feeding Abi (now 5years old). We went to the food show in Birmingham...just me and baby Abi:thumbup:. I was in the supertheatre on the front row coz I had a buggy, watching Rick Stein doing a cookery demo and Abi started grizzling so I fed her as discreetly as I could, you couldn't see anything but I think it was quite obvious what I was doing and Rick Stein's eyes stopped on me as he was talking....I thought "oh shit, I hope he's not gonna say anything" but he just smiled knowingly at me:blush::haha:

I've fed in church but it was at a christening so there were tonnes of babies anyway. I've also fed on a ferry.

Weirdest place I've pumped is in the passenger seat of our car going along a motorway - it was all going well until we hit a sudden traffic jam and the car next to us got an eyeful of my boob being sucked in and out of the pump!

Ive fed in so many public places, outside the supermarket, in my car in various locations, on a park bench, the beach, centre of town, on the hard shoulder of a motor way, and most recntly at drucillas (which is a zoo) on a little wall outside the monkey enclosure :) xxx

I've loads but just come back from Alton towers and have fed him on 2 rides and several other places there today, also in church on sundays, my solicitors and sat in the nursery department of mothercare as i refuse to use the smelly rooms so i make myself comfortable on the gliding chairs:rofl:

Umm prob last week at my friends flat in front of 5 student peadeatric nurses (that i used to live with) they were revising for an exam the next day and breastfeeding was part of it so i thought i would demonstate a good latch!!! They all passed as well!!! :)

i fed my 10day old at my hubbys soccer game infront of the whole team the other day! Id fed him in the car as soon as we got there, thinking he'd make it thru the game and id feed him again when we got home...haha yea right! Just before half time he decided that right now was feed time, and even tho we havent quite got our latch 100% right and it takes a bit for me to get him on, i decided to just feed him then and there in front of all the boys rather than walk back to the car. A few copped an eyefull, but i didnt really care.

While we were on our way back from our hols the other week I had to feed Poppy in the car as we were stuck in a traffic jam on the motorway and she suddenly decided she wanted her milkie. :dohh:
I was already sat in the back with Poppy and obviously could not get her out of her car seat so I had to pull my top down and then lean over her just enough so I could get my boob in her mouth. It was so uncomfortable, espcially as I had to keep my seatbelt on too so it was digging right into me, but Poppy was happy and she got her milkie :happydance:
