Oden is chief god in Norse mythology. Oden is the real form how to spell his name here in Scandinavia. It's other countries changing their names to Odin, Thor, Frey etc, in reality its Oden, Tor and Frej.

It is supposed to be Odin, but we changed it to Oden.

I think its a great choice as it is the real spelling of Oden, Odin is a changed spelled which does not occur in Scandinavia.

Odin in a lovely name, I hope you don't mind me saying but my male dog is called Odin. Only the other day a friend said it would be a great name for a baby.

I never knew Oden was the accurate spelling rather than Odin! That's great piece of info. I'd otherwise say I love the spelling Odin, but if Oden is the accurate, I'd say go for it, it's really cool!!

I like Oden! What middle names are you thinking about? I can't decide what spelling I like more though, Odin or Oden...maybe Oden because it seems more masculine. and for whatever reason the I makes me think feminine.
