Oh my god, my friend just had a baby and no-one even knew she was pregnant!

I had my suspicions the last time I saw her and was fully expecting her to tell me she was pregnant soon but not THAT pregnant. She had a little girl just over a year ago so must have gotten pregnant again pretty soon afterwards and last time I saw her I thought she was looking a little bumpy but I thought she was going to tell me she'd had her first scan or something. Anyway, she went into labour yesterday and had a baby boy last night weighing 8lb 8 and managed to hide it from everyone. I'm in shock! She's not a small girl and put on quite a bit of weight from her first baby so I think people kind of just put the belly down to that. Every time i've seen her i've been going on about my pregnancy and the whole time she must have been about the same gestation. Haven't seen her yet to have a proper chat about it so I have no idea if she knew all the way through or if she knew at all but not even her family knew! She's a great mum to her daughter and i'm sure she'll be a great mum to her new baby boy too. So jealous that she beat me into labour though haha.

Yeah I might suggest it to her haha. Though I have a feeling she knew and just didn't tell anyone! As far as I know he's healthy, yeah. Just seen a pic and he looks fine! Obviously I don't know all the details yet...leaving her alone for a while 'cos she'll have lots of other people to deal with i'm sure. He's gorgeous though . Still can't believe no-one knew!

Well her mum did ask her if she was pregnant and she said no. Her mum asked when me and OH were there about a month ago and she pulled a funny face which was another reason I was kind of expecting her to tell me soon but no way did I think she was this far along. I didn't ask her because I thought i'd wait until she told me so she didn't have to lie and say no if she didn't wanna tell me yet sorta thing! I do just think she maybe didn't wanna tell anyone because it was so soon after her daughter but i'm not sure if she even knew how far along she was etc

She may not have known she was pregnant until she was very far along. She could have gotten pregnant before she had her first period and had an easy pregnancy. It would be quite easy not to notice your first period after pregnancy if you didn't know when to expect it.
I couldn't imagine not knowing I was pregnant. It's just bizarre.
Congratz to her anyway..and her little girl has a baby brother. Cute

She rejected the baby . OH is still there and looking after him and they're meant to be bringing him home tonight but she's not doing very well mentally. She's replied to other people but not to me which is probably because of the situation with me having a baby soon too... I have no idea what to say to her now!
