just had a stingy pain in my belly button and looked and my belly bar has ripped into the hole where my tummys stretching! cant believe i didnt realise looks like now gna just have to leave it out by the time i get a pregnancy one it will probs be blummin healed! ah well ehh all for a good cause! anyone else noticed thiss? xxx

i have a pregnancy one but its starting to get itchy so i might have to let it close. My belly button is still an innie though!

OUCH sounds painful. I've got my belly button pierced but all seems to be fine at the moment. Am hoping I can keep it but I am worrying that it's going to rip out. I have not got much of a bump yet so might be why its ok.

Is your bump quite big? Did you just have a normal metal bar in there? Did it bleed? ouch ouch ouch ouch x x x

I took my body bar out a month before I discovered I was pregnant. So glad I did as I have random extra skin pushing out the bottom!

Out of curiosity I tried getting a bar through the other day and it still went through, even though it's been out over 8 months. A friend had hers 'rip' when pregnant but now it's back to normal. Hopefully yours will be ok hon. X

I took mine out too when I found out - I saw too many people have problems with theirs! My bar still goes through though, so I am not worried about it closing. Also mine was pierced REALLY deep. Don't know if I will put it back in though - its kind of nice not having it for once (had it a LONG time - since I was 14). Also I am in the minority now because I don't have one LOL!!!

hi hun nope its not like ripped out but u know where theres 2 holes? its like my belly bars been pushing forward so making the holes get wider and rip if u know what i mean? only noticed it when i looked properly becuase it was hurting xx

i had one of those plastic maternity bars in up til last week but my tummy was just stretching too much, i can still get it thru tho but its sore, if ur looking for a maternity bar for it tho, argos has them...when mines started stretching i used sudocrem on it, worked wonders

Mine was starting to annoy me but I took it out and it hurts more, not sure if I should put it back in now!
