I made the same decision in my last pregnancy - was determined to stay yellow, but it was causing stress and fighting between my husband and I, and in the end I realized that it didn't matter either way. I was only mildly curious what the ultrasound would show, as I already knew he was a boy lol. If it had been my kids pushing me to find out, I would have stuck to team yellow, but my marriage at the time was already rocky, so having one less thing to fight over more important than my surprise.
I hope your daughter gets what she wants, or at least reacts well to a boy. Are you taking her to the scan? That helped my older son immensely this time around, even though we weren't able to get a good potty shot. It got him more excited about the baby and lessened his concern about the gender.
