My baby is well into 2 months, my recovery from c-section was awful I got a severe reaction from the tape which left 2 huge marks in my stomach forever..then weeks later I developed Pneumonia which sent me to the hospital for a week and then I got a rare case of PUPPP after birth..so my recovery has been slow and painful but everything is gone except that now I am slowly becoming paralyzed..

Anything from where they did the epidural has continually slowed down , I can't walk for more than 5 minutes before my lower back hurts, my legs are heavy and I for once fall asleep on my back my legs are paralyzed and hubby has to turn me on my side to get feelings back...When I get up from been sitting down I need help and I walk like a baby who just learn how to walk, I am unbalanced and my mobility is getting worst. I am going to have to call somebody but I am not sure who I thought with time I would get feeling back to my legs but now is just getting worst I am 36 years old and I should not be dying of horrible pain after 5 minutes of standing up.

Any has gone thru this? know of anybody? The first time they tried the epi the doctor could not get it in I felt him hitting bone and it hurt like heck after like 30 minutes of trying he called the chief doc and he got it in..I hope they did not screwed something up there.

How long have you been having these symptoms? Have they just started or have they been present since your c section? You definitely should call your doctor about it.

Since the Surgery...but since my recovery was bad I was always either in a bed at home or in a hospital so I would get up and feel this way but I thought it was from everything going on but I have been fine now for at least a month and these symptoms are not going away

It may be a complication from the epidural but I don't know that for sure. Call your doctor and let them know, they may refer you to a neurologist. Hope you find out what's going on and feel better soon

You definitely need to get in and see a doctor. Obviously it isn't normal, and you shouldn't have to suffer like that.
It took over half an hour for them to get my epidural in, with plenty of hits and misses and hitting bone. I haven't had any problems after that, but my mum had some back issues after hers. Not as drastic as yours though :hugs:

I agree with the previous posters, you definitely need to get that checked out! Good luck :flower:
