hey all...
ive used a doppler with all my pregnancies .. this being my third.
iv found the hb since 10 weeks.
im 17wks+1 at the mo and tonight using the doppler .. babys hb nice and strong at 160 plus.
just for laugh i moved to the other side could hear placenta woohisg etc moved slightly towards the center and boom another very strong hb at 149 .. i moved the doppler back to the orignal place where i ALWAYS find the hb and there it was .. i kept mpving back and forth ... deffo 2 diff beats NOT mine or the placenta. and surely the baby isnt moving that quick?
1 baby on 12 week scan so slightly confused as to what it could be ... any ideas?

My guess is you are picking up baby's heartbeat from two different angles

As baby gets bigger you can pick up the heart rate from their back and their chest so you were probably going to either side of the baby's torso were you counting the beats or looking at the doppler screen for the numbers? The screen isn't very accurate at all usually xx
