Old blood before ovulation

Hi

Has anyone had any issues with brown discharge before ovulation? I've been feeling bloated the last couple of days, and noticeably more aroused. We bded this morning and I noticed spotting this afternoon so thought i would check my cervix. I had a rush of old blood, mixed with CM and his leftovers.

i'm quite sore at the moment and tender to touch my abdomen. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this or give me some reassurance!!

Hey c: obviously check with your doctor if you're really worried it might be a sign of something bigger, because I'm no expert, but I know a lot of women who get brown spotting during ovulation. It's meant to because when the egg ruptures and is released into the wild to find a mate aha, it can cause some bleeding from said rupture, and the fluids released can also irritate your surrounding muscles and tissues which can create what people refer to as, 'ovulation pain', like cramps but when you ovulate. That being said, if you've never had something like this before and it's suddenly just happening, it can be sign of something else so I'd see your doctor just to make sure.
