I was diagnosed with severe oligohydramnios at week 17 due to malformation of baby's kidneys, and now i am in week 26 the baby's heart still beating, his lungs didn't developed due to the condition, he can't move, he is in the same position since week 17, the dr think he will be stillbirth any moment now, but i read stories over the net that i could stay till week 36 or even more and then if i deliver a living baby he will die soon after birth. I am not sure I will stay positive until that time, weeks are passing really slowly now, I am starting to feel baby's movements so this experience is getting harder and more devastating... any similar stories please....

My daughter died at 27 weeks and the us to confirm her death showed low fluid.

:sad1:I'm going through something similar as well. Currently 26+2 and have had low fluid from 23 weeks. Initially they thought there was a problem with blood flow through my cord but that seems to have resolved. They now think baby has a genetic condition due to a very small head circumference, deformed feet, possible heart defect and very low amniotic fluid levels. Going to fetal medicine on tues for another scan and opinion.

Strange thing I have noticed though is that kicks seem to be getting stronger and more frequent. I also feel baby lying very low and uncomfortable. Have pretty much accepted that baby will not survive the pregnancy. The wait and see is unbearable.

Amjon : sorry about your loss.
Masie : you are absolutely right the wait is unbearable. I did also accepted that my baby will never survive but i am not sure when this story will end
