Here's my birth story only...4 months late! Lol!!
I started having pains on the 31st May around about 5pm. I sat on my ball and called Jorja & Oliver's dad to come and watch Jorja whilst I was having pains. I sat on my ball for 4 hours straight and the pains where every 5 minutes. I phoned up to the labour ward around 9pm and they told me to go up. They examined me around 10 and I was only 3-4cm. The told me to stay and sit on the ball again and have a wonder around. They where going to examine me again at 2am.
My contractions stayed at 5 minutes apart and instead of sending me home like they should have, but because I was on my own and I was the only person in the LW they hid me around the corner in the MWLU. Come 2am they examined me again and I was still at 4. I tried to get some sleep and about 4:30 the pains became more frequent and painful. I went from 4-7cm in 10 mins then 7-10 in 15.
My waters broke at 5:25am and my son was born at 06:41am I laboured and gave birth with Just my MW there.
Oliver William John was born weighing 7lbs 9oz. But he was soooo tiny, but perfect in every way xxx
