Does anyone else say "the child" or "the baby"? The baby gets promoted to "the child" when another baby comes along. Although if no other babies come along - it could sound a bit funny when the baby is 5 years old!

i called my sister the baby until she reached about 7 then it was sweenie (shes called serena lol)
DS2 is still the baby but hes 18 months.
my friend has twins..boy and girl they are 5 but i dont call them the kids i call them the twins still as if they are the same lol.
