omg im soooo annoyed

well i got my progesterone on friday after being at epau the on call registrar spoke with my consultant said after i find out when my first scan is i have to make an appointment too see him at the clinic as i need to start blood thinning injections now , i call antenatal clinic to book that appointment turns out i cant do that till i find out my first mw appointment so they refered me to the dept to do that turns out they STILL dont have my gp referal so i had to self referal and once i done that they still didnt give me a date so their for i cant book the appointment to get my injections im in tears and stressed cause im trying to do what he asks and no one is helping its important i get this i dont wanna go through another mc even tho im taking aspirin daily im so annoyed what do i do ?

Firstly, calm down.

Secondly, get back in touch with your consultant and explain the situation and tell them you feel pushed from person to person and are still getting nowhere!

i have tried all day to contact his secretary and their is no answer hun x

Just be persistent. They will soon get fed up with the constant calls/messages. Easier said than done but please try not to stress out too much. I know I would be exactly the same as you though x

I know that here you self-refer to the community midwives but you can also self refer to the EPU if you have one in your area. Basically think you need to sit on the phone in the morning and call everyone you can think of! Speak to a GP, the community midwives, the EPU, the consultants secretary till they are sick of hearing from you and dread the phone ringing! Add in the ante-natal clinic if they look after early pregnancies and make the appointment with the consultant now (fudge about your scan date if you have to - say it's within the week but you haven't got the actual time yet as you're waiting for the letter if you think that might work!) Oh and phone the scanning dept too, see if you can put a rush on things! I know it sounds like even more stress but lets face it you are not going to relax at all until you can get somewhere!
It sounds like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and all you can do is keep pushing them all!
