So we are seeling a fridge its immaculate as was used to chill OHs bottles of cokes and water - its not even a mini fridge its a proper fridge
so we put it on gumtree for £30 we put our location clear as day on the advert
i get a text from someone asking if i would accept £20 and deliver it to them. fine if its just up the road. so i ask them where they are - 50 miles away!!!!
i explain that it would cost me £20 in petrol to deliver it
so they ask me what i would accept as lowest price.
i pointed out that at my original price i would only make a tenner after petrol so it was not worth my time
seriously? who has the cheek to ask for something for £20 and to be delivered for the same price when they are 50 miles away
