Hi ladies, my DH and I have been married for 1 1/2 years and this is out second cycle TTC. I have long cycles, so had blood work and ultra sound done...everything came back ok. My dr. Suggested pregnitude, which I have been taking for about 3 weeks now. The cycle I had before starting was 40 days, this cycle was 36. I started 3 days early though at 11dpo. My worry is that the pregnitude is shortening my luteal phase while bringing my cycles closer together. Not sure if that's good or not?!?!
If you are overwhelmed and new to TTC please join me in this crazy journey!!
If you have been at it for a little while and have some insight, please join as well!! I would love to chat, cry, laugh and hopefully get BFP :bfp::bfp: with you!!!

Also, does anyone have tips to reduce stress? I am already a ball of stress/anxiety as it is, so TTC is making it worse and I know that can have serious negative affects on conceiving. I try to do at least 1-2 yoga classes during the week and try to get to the gym 2-3 times pet week. Any other suggestions?? I take baths to relax too... Not sure if it helps though.
Thanks!!!!

For stress, I think the best thing is to keep yourself busy so you don't dwell on TTC. By busy, I don't necessarily mean piling more things to stress about on your plate. If you're someone who's always on the go and has too much to worry about, then keeping busy might mean doing something frivolous and mindless like playing Candy Crush or just daydreaming.

There's been some studies that setting aside time for "acheivement-oriented daydreaming" results in lower levels of stress hormones and exhaustion in women. We get so busy that we don't let our minds wander, and that can just make everything worse.

So with that in mind, if it relaxes you to imagine playing with legos or building a play fort with baby BBYfever, then try it! Just start with 15 minutes a day where no one bothers you and you can let your mind drift without making a grocery list in your head or reminding yourself that you have to switch over the laundry.

Love it, Mrsshan! Thanks :0)
Have you ever tried acupuncture? I have heard it mentioned, but not sure if it works or is worth it?!
Hope you have a great Friday!!

Hi Blair! I'm Lesli. :)

I've never tried acupuncture, but I get a deep tissue full body massage every other month or so. Sometimes I go alone, sometimes with my dh, and sometimes with my sister.

I'm generally not a very anxious person. It's just not in my nature to be stressed about things I can't change, and I'm usually not nervous or easily upset by things. I feel like I'm a little weird that way, but it's always made more sense to approach situations with logic rather than emotion. It just doesn't make sense to stress out, so why do it?

I hope you have a great Friday too!

Hi Lesli!
You are so lucky that you don't naturally stress!! I wish that I was that way!! I know it's silly and definitely does not help any situation, but it's just in my genetics :0/ thank you for the advice!! I think a massage sounds perfect for this weekend!!!
Xoxo
