Do you give the bottle?
I did a couple of days trying to give a 9pm bottle but as I am feeding on demand, my 3 week old was feeding almost up to 9pm and would drink 0.5-1oz so decided not to bother for a couple of days and just breastfeed.

However, I do want her to take a bottle but now I wonder on timings. If I've bfd her only 30mins beforehand then she isn't hungry enough. But dh doesn't want to get up in the night to prep a bottle to feed her. I don't even know how much I should expect her to take.

When does your lo take a bottle, what age and how much?

Never had a bottle. No point. It'll just mess with your supply.

Why do you want to?

I'd wait until you're in more of a routine and then do it. For me, Ben goes to bed at 7, is usually asleep by 8 and then I express at 10 fpr a bottle for him at 11.

I do this to make sure he gets a good feed before I go to bed. He ia generally too sleepy to feed properly from me and with a bottle he will usually take 4oz. He is a slow gainer so it gives me peace of mind knowing he is getting an extra feed that he wouldn't usually wake for.
