One day period, still cramping

So after being 5 days late I had what I thought was AF show up last Sunday but it was over by Monday night. Since the whole week before I have had mild cramping here and there, but not as intense as usual AF cramps. I took a test this morning but didn’t realize I had bought blue tests and I know those aren’t great.

Does anyone know why I’d have a one day period and still cramping?
