So we've only been ttc for 6 months now I know this is nothing compared to what a lot of couples go through, but Hubby thinks if this cycle doesn't pull through that we should get outside help... I really don't want to. And my biggest fear is not being able to have a baby, so if that were the case I would really be devastated. But I know in most cases there is something that the doctors can do to help.. I'm spotting right now (possible implantation?) at the end of cycle day 31 and tests are not showing positive yet so I'm kind of feeling the blues right now but I'm not giving up until I see RED.
Any advice would be so appreciated, I don't have any other women to confide in!

Don't worry there are LOTS a Dr can do to help :) I would say 90% of infertility problems are an easy fix. In fact most of the time if you see a fertility specialist the problem most people have is timing. Keep your chin up :) It wouldn't hurt to see a Dr. I also have stated a post in the TTC board called "advice needed(long post)" if you would like to go there to see if you can find some advice :) it'll be ok (HUGS)

Maybe you could both go to your ob gyn first? Just to talk about what all you are trying. Most specialists want you be to trying for at least a year, but a good start would be an ob gyn. Do you test for ovulation?

This is the first cycle I've used OPK's but if this cycle is a no-go, then next time I'm definitely using clearblue so I can save myself my sanity. And I'm not really confident in my BBT charting abilities.

We are in our 7th cycle TTC baby #1 and we are planning on seeking outside help if this cycle doesn't produce a BFP. I am planning on doing what froggyfrog suggested and seeing my OBGYN first since I need to go in for my yearly anyhow and addressing my concerns with him. I am, however, terrified of bad news. My husband is only supportive of seeking outside help at this point because I think he is worried for my sanity lol

So if ur under 35, it's suggested to try for a year before seeing a specialist. If ur over 35 it's 6 months. It's definitely ur personal choice, but in my opinion it never hurts to at least get checked out and make sure everything is ok (for u and ur husband).

Right after our 9th cycle I just happened to have to go to my OBGYN for my annual check up and she started getting the ball rolling on testing. I will be 28 in about a week and my DH is 29. To be honest I personally wasn't going to make a special trip but while I was there I talked to her about it.
