It's awful! If my stomach is empty, I feel so nauseated and on the verge of throwing up. But as soon as I eat something, my nausea goes away. It's bad because the thought of eating just turns my stomach even more, but then I feel better afterwards. Is anyone else going through this?

Yes! I was like that at the beginning with this one... Now I'm just nauseated allllllll the time.

Try eating small snacks like fruit or cheese with crackers. Something simple that doesn't turn your stomach so bad. Just keep your belly semi-full and you should be able to avoid some nausea. I also sucked on lollipops to help ease my stomach :)

Hope this helps at least a bit!!

I'm going through the opposite. Every time I eat I feel awful. I really have to force food down each day. I even struggle with drinking. I think I'd prefer it your way round. X

yes! I have consistent mild nausea all day, but it gets worse when I'm hungry. I bought a big box of saltine crackers and I have a few of those to throw off the nausea when I get hungry, and then I can usually eat whatever meal I was planning.

saltines seem to be the only thing that I'm sorta "meh" about. I don't crave them, but they don't disgust me either. it's a good bland snack.

Sounds about right for 6 week morning sickness! Mine was like that both times. It got a bit worse as the weeks went on, so that food didn't help much.

I was just thinking about posting this same thing! With my twins I couldn't eat anything without throwing up. With this pregnancy I feel the best when I'm full. But like you said, I'm so nauseous that nothing really sounds good. Such a weird feeling! I've been snacking on fruit and crackers to help. I also have been drinking ginger ale between meals and sucking on peppermints. I prefer this sickness over my last one though!

Yep...but when I'm full I feel too full. I am having trouble getting comfortable in every way!

Iv been exactly the same as soon as my stomach empties I feel so sick and I'm retching and heaving but nothing to be sick as stomach empty. I'm 11 weeks now and it's starting to subside now so there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Me!! Some odd reason eating 24/7 helps the nausea... Only time I vomit is on an empty stomach.... Empty as in the morning or the small time between lunch and dinner.... So to avoid the puke sessions I just eat literally all day :/ I miss eating real meals .... :(

That's not what I'm experiencing, but the midwife I saw today mentioned that when the stomach is empty or when it's all stretched out and full are the times you're most likely to experience nausea.

For me, I seem to be getting nauseous after I eat, nearly every time. Doesn't seem to matter whether it was a small snack or a full meal, as soon as I'm done eating I feel nauseous. Fortunately it doesn't seem to last very long (so far). Today I even felt nauseous after taking a few sips of plain water. (Made it hard to down all the water I was supposed to drink for my ultrasound.)

This exactly! If I'm hungry, I feel sick and if I eat too much I feel sick. There's a fine line I think!

I had this last time, to the extent I would be dry retching as I was waiting for food... Hunger sickness I called it! I'm ok this time so far x

I wasn't as nauseous the last time but this time when I'm hungry I'm nauseous and dizzy. Not an nice feeling.

I don't know if it's worse when I am hungry because I constant mild nausea all day but it is better after I eat.

Does anyone else's nausea worsen when sitting down?

This was me.. If I didn't have food in my stomach I was so very sick.. I made sure to keep crackers and snacks around me at all times.
