Soooo.....last year I was in the ER with pain that radiated down my leg on my right side. After the ER thinking it was my appendix, I had an ultrasound and a CT. CT found a large mass on my right ovary. My OB doc then saw me the next day and said there was nothing wrong with my ovary and she thought it was just my abdomen. I then got a second opinion. From April to June, the mass took over completely and I had surgery in July. I lost my right ovary....right tube and my appendix as the mass had infiltrated that also. Almost killed me. So now!! My doc has started me on Metformin and Letrozole. I'm worried my one ovary isn't enough....anyone have success? I'm on CD 17 and just waiting to see if the witch shows or not...

Thanks for listening!! ;)

You absolutely have a chance! I had my right tube removed because of a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, so I only have one good side also. I conceived my second daughter with only one tube and was able to conceive once after that also. Totally possible!!!

You totally have a chance :)

I have half an ovary and my husband has a low count. We have concieved twice. First with IUI but lost the baby in 2nd trimester and then naturally. We have a nearly 12 month old.

Don't let 1 ovary define you. It is possible :)

Hi sweetie!

There absolutely is hope. I had a laparotomy (open abdominal surgery) for dermoid cysts in October. I had all of my left ovary removed, and half of my right, my largest mass was softball sized so they could not do it via keyhole.

3 months later... BFP! It turns out I am expecting natural fraternal twins, conceived the very first month I tried.

Do not give up, it will happen for you too!
