I'm worried sick. He tends to go every 3.5-4 hours in the day...and always has his last one at 7;30ish....he dictates that lol but for the last week or so, he will only take between 2 abd 4oZ of his 7oz bedtime bottle. He sttn and very rarely wakes for another feed so it means some nights, hes having 2oz then sleeping 12 hours..

I've tried everything, bringing bed time forward, pushing it back, not leaving as long between. The previous feed and his last feed, leaving a longer gap....I'm at a loss.

I'm really worried he isn't goibg to be putting on enough weight. Any tips on how to make him take a little bit more?!

I don't have any tips but my LO has ALWAYS eaten a less amount at night and shes growing perfectly fine so I am really not worried about it. I am not going to force her to eat..if shes hungry for more, she will let me know :)

Ah, it might be me over reacting then....I always thought they took more at night to get them through till morning. Tbh Id be more bothered if it was the morning one he wasnt taking. He has 3 7oz bottles (although I'm thinking of trying 8) and then this night time one....but eats everything else u put in front of him (hes soooo easy to wean!)

I think I just over analyzed this lol

My little girl takes exactly the same! She isn't weaned yet tho. The other week she had a full bottle before bed which I can't remember the last time she did that but it was only because she puked up a lot earlier in the day so she was making up for it lol. I tried upping to 8 as she normally drains her other bottles but she still only took 7! I wouldn't worry, I did but as hv said u can't force them to have it! Xxx

Perhaps he's just naturally cutting his milk down a bit with having food now? X

My daughter does this too. I think they are just using it to "lure" themselves into a sleep. I wouldn't worry as long as LO is eating well during the day.
