Good Luck to us all!
Good Luck y'all! Mine was yesterday, as for tips...eh...it HURTS, at least mine did. I was laying down for 45 minutes while she did it and now my stomach is wicked bruised and sore. She also didn't let me see the screen the whole time, she took pics and then showed them to me and DH afterwards. I hope your tech is nice!
Good luck bis bis and hayley. Get online after so i know hows yours went
PMB that sounds awful or maybe they always do that? i know my 12 week one i could look at the screen so hoping the same tomorrow.
can you complain and get another booked maybe?
I know my last one hurt as they had to press quite hard-it shocked me a bit and also that gel stuff felt like it burned me it was so hot
I have to take my step son(4) in with me too and i hope he can sit and behave as i dont want to be concentrating on him more than ricegrain. Maybe im just stressy and getting myself worked up. Im worried that there will be bad news or something but i suppose everyone here worries that. oh look now im just babbling!
Oh my! Sorry to hear so many have had such rotten times at their scans!
I had my mom and dad, DH and DD there with me! The clinic has a fairly large monitor mounted on the wall opposite the scanning machine where I could see everything while I was lying there... Plus everyone could see either the monitor or the scanning machine too. It lasted about an hour, and other than laying in one place that long and having to pee something fierce, that was the only discomforts I had.
They even burned several captured images to a CD for me to take home, so I didn't have to try to scan them to send them to others or post them online.
Pitbullmommy that sad that your experience was so bad. They kept the screen turned to us the whole time, I had my mom and husband there and she would explain everything she was looking at to us. It didnt hurt at all for me. They do push a little hard sometimes with the probe but I dont think it should hurt. Sorry yours did!!
Good luck to all having scans tomorrow! You better all keep us posted on the outcome
