but i still got a really strong BFP bout a week ago

The way the weeks are worked out, you're actually about 2 weeks pregnant at your date of conception because the weeks are counted from the first day of your last period - so you wouldn't get a strong BFP then. Do you mean that you're 3 weeks since you conceived, rather than since your last period? x

Yeah 5 weeks with a BFP a week ago would put you around the time you were due a period. Three weeks with BFP a week ago would put you around the time you actually CONCEIVED.

You're a month pregnant 2 weeks after you conceive. Strange as it sounds...

I got a strong BFP and I must have been 3 weeks at the time because I got put back 2 weeks by my scan.

How did you find out?

I took my pregnancy test at 3 weeks and the lines were so faint, but a line is a line!

Anyways, did you go to the doctor to find out that you were 3 weeks along? I had an ultrasound done and they told me that I was 5 weeks, but I was "officially" 7 weeks along because of when my last period started... but I know that I'm really like two weeks ahead because I know when my baby was conceived if that makes any sense!
