This has just completely baffled me. I thought that your test didn't show up until you were 3 weeks at the earliest! Mostly its 4 and quite often 5

I took test at 2 weeks, and I stil got a bfn. I'm still waiting for Af to not show up at my doorstep.

Two weeks would mean you are pg straight after ovulation.. that means little bean wouldn't have implanted. Implantation takes place around 7-10 days after ovulation so the earliest you could find out would be at 3 and a bit weeks.

I don't see how you could possibly have found out at 2 weeks.

no one knows untill there first scan and if youre only 3 weeks youre a long way off the scan!!

Until a scan you date from the first day of your last period. so if you test on the day AF is due and you usually have a 28 day cycle you are approx 4 weeks. If that makes sense but then its usually all change by the first scan!

At 6.3 days I had an ultrasound and the baby measured 5weeks. Later on they did another and the 1st ultrasound was proven wrong. They can be off by a week or so. Maybe she had an ultrasound?

Maybe we've upset her.. We weren't trying to be mean, just wondering how you got such an early BFP because we're amazed. It doesn't make sense, the hormone you test for only starts to be released when the egg implants, which happens (as a couple of us have said) 7-10 days after ovulation (most preg tests tend to say wait 17/19 days...) and it's sometimes a few days after that before you can get a definate positive.

Please please reply and let us know! If it was such an early pos, that's pretty incredible! If it was just a mistake, then don't worry about it... I was severely confused about how you could be 2 weeks pregnant before you'd even conceived up until recently! Bizarre..

I think maybe the poster got confused .. (I was easilt confused with dates lol) .
I found out and was actually 2 weeks pregnant from conception untill some one explained to me you are classed pregnant 2 weeks before you concieve i was utterly confused lol .

i found out 8 days after i had sex and most people dnt even click about adding 2 weeks on....and even if ya did that technically made me 3weeks 1 day maybe she rounded it to 3weeks preg....could of been put back by blood results.

well i dont have a normal cycle and well im a very very nervous person
so i did a test and i dont know but it was positive and went to docs
and he worked something out and yeah thats just what he told me
i have no idea bout these things but yeah if the doctor said it thats what i was goin by
i think its wrong too cos lately ive been gettin not sick but nausea and yeah im think
your all right i think i was right at my first thought oh well my doctor wants me to go
back so we can set up an ultrasound appointment to see for sure.
but owell the one good thing is its positive so yay

im confused now then, because my last period was due 14th july
however my doctor said i was 9 weeks couple days, but on websites it says im 10 weeks couple days :S
i havent had no blood tests or scans or ultra fingys, i just did a pregnancy test, then got it confirmed by doctors, and had my belly prodded to make sure there wasnt nothing grwoing in the wrong place or something

(note: my 1st apointment with my midwife is 6 days from now)

17 and scared hun , Did you miss your July period if so ...Iam calculating you to be around nearly 13 weeks . If you got your july period then missed August then you would be nearly 10 weeks . xxx .
