Had an OB appointment today and she did a cervical check. 3 cm dilated and 100% effaced!!! She sent me home but has me watching for contractions and water leakage. Hoping for soon! What do you ladies think?

I'm going to say you will have baby 37 weeks and 3 days! With your waters breaking first=p good luck! Xx

ooh sounds promising, hope baby stays there until 37 weeks and you won't have any additional monitoring just straight forward

i went in at 36+3 and was 4cm dilated and 80% effaced and still waiting almost a week later. I think I may be leaking so im going in to get checked later this morning. I hear tho that the effacement really is what holds your waters from breaking not so much the dilation and @ 100% effaced you should pop at any minute. Hop around a little and take a long walk! What great news! The end is very near fr you.
Waters can break without being fully effaced. With my first my waters broke early at 36w, but I had no effacement. The body works in strange ways!
