I have PCOS but the fertility specialist says everything looks good to ttc naturally for now. I have been using OPK's even though I just found out they may not work for someone with PCOS.

However, people with PCOS say they get false positives because of naturally higher hormone levels. I started OPK's about 20 days ago, 15 days after a period I received after taking progesterone. I had no 2nd line at all for the first 10 days, then a faint line for 7 days. This morning I got my first almost positive. It's the darkest I've gotten it's just not quite as dark but it is REALLY close. I will test for the next couple of days every 4 hours in hopes of the line getting a little darker.

Since I have a gradual fade in, does that mean the OPK could be accurate for me even though I have PCOS? Could it really be a positive?

Any advice you could give me would be great!

I dont know if i have PCOS as i havent been tested but this month my OPK's have gradually gotten darker over time, faded for one day then i got a positive, along with doing my BBT i think im ovulating today which means my OPK's would be right :)

Well I just tested again and am back to a really faint line. Maybe I'll be lucky like you and have it fade then have a BFP tomorrow?! I sure hope so!
